A festival inspired by the work of Grant Wood and today's Regional Artists
|
Grant Wood 1891-1942 Grant Wood's love of the Iowa country side led him to the Amana Colonies. His painting of "Young Corn" was painted in the Amana Colonies-the exact location of the site the painting is portraying is still debated today. You too can speculate on this subject and make a guess at the AmanaWood Festival using photos of the landscape as it appears today.
